The 2020 National Magazine Awards

I am thrilled to have won gold with the National Magazine Awards in the category of one-of-a-kind storytelling. The winning essay, Blood Tithes: A Primer will be appearing in my upcoming meoir/essay collection, Persephone’s Children to be published October 2021 with Dundurn Press. I also received an honourable mention for Found Objects, within the same category. Found Objects is also included in Persephone’s Children. My thanks to the National Magazine Awards for this honour.
